Little Eggs Chicken Farm Logo Design

Little Eggs Chicken Farm Logo Design

Introduction

In this project, I developed three logo variations for Little Eggs Chicken Farm, a company specializing in small eggs. Each logo incorporates a friendly chicken illustration paired with the farm’s name.

Design Goals

My primary goals were to create a logo that is:

  • Playful and Appealing: The logo should resonate with a family-friendly audience, particularly children who might accompany their parents while shopping.
  • Informative: The logo should clearly communicate that Little Eggs Chicken Farm raises chickens and sells eggs.
  • Memorable: The design should be memorable and leave a lasting impression on potential customers.

Design Exploration

  • Chicken Illustration: I opted for a simple, cartoon-style chicken illustration across all variations. This approach reinforces the playful and approachable nature of the brand.
  • Text: The text “Little Eggs Chicken Farm” is positioned below the chicken in all three variations. I chose a clear and kid-friendly font to maintain consistency with the overall brand identity.
  • Color Variations:
    • Logo 1 (Red Chicken): This variation utilizes a classic red chicken with black eyes and a yellow beak. The text remains black. Red is an eye-catching color often associated with chickens, making this logo stand out.
    • Logo 2 (Yellow Chicken): This logo features a yellow chicken with black eyes and an orange beak. The text stays black. The yellow coloring evokes the color of chicken eggs, creating a visual connection to the product.
    • Logo 3 (Black and White): This variation presents a black chicken with white eyes and beak. The text is also black. The black and white design offers a sophisticated minimalism, making it highly versatile for various applications like packaging.

Client Presentation & Selection

While this case study doesn’t reveal the chosen logo, each variation offers unique strengths:

  • Logo 1 (Red Chicken): Ideal for grabbing attention due to the vibrant red color.
  • Logo 2 (Yellow Chicken): Creates a memorable link between the chicken illustration and the product (eggs).
  • Logo 3 (Black and White): Provides maximum versatility for various branding applications.

The final logo selection will depend on the client’s specific preferences and marketing goals. We discussed the impact and target audience for each logo, allowing the client to make an informed decision.
